FSU has intriguing in-state 2028 running back on their radar

On June 15, coaches were granted permission to contact prospects in the 2028 class. One of the more intriguing recruits that has seen his recruitment pick up has been three-star running back Terriel Harmon who spent his first two years at Centennial High School before transferring to West Boca Raton High School for his junior campaign.

In particular, several ACC schools have reached out to Harmon. The Florida State Seminoles are in that group according to Zach Blostein of 247Sports along with programs from a few other conferences.

“FSU, Georgia Tech, Miami, Auburn, Duke, Wisconsin… there’s a lot,” Harmon said.

His rise to prominence on the high level started as a freshman. Harmon registered 814 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while also logging 44 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup on defense. He played in only six games as a sophomore, but he amassed 130 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards with three total touchdowns. Defensively, Harmon put up 15 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass breakup.

Harmon isn’t ranked yet by 247Sports at the moment. Rivals industry rankings have him listed as the nation’s No. 726 overall player, the No. 54 running back, and the No. 98 recruit in the state of Florida.

With him being an in-state recruit, Florida State should look to get Harmon on campus during the season at some point.
