The Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio recently worked with Scioto Analysis to research and produce a report outlining where duplexes can and can’t be built in the region.
Living in a classic double and renting out the other side can help a family save $1.3 million over a lifetime, the research found. Yet, current zoning laws allow duplexes on just 17 percent of all Central Ohio parcels. Here’s a breakdown by community.
