Morriston man, 71, dies in single-vehicle crash in Levy County

A 71-year-old Morriston man died in a single-vehicle crash June 26 in Levy County, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

County Road 326 near County Road 539.

The FHP report

According to the report, a 71-year-old Morriston man was driving a pickup truck west on County Road 326 when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a tree. The vehicle caught fire with the driver trapped inside. The man died from his injuries.
