The Texas Longhorns have landed yet another commitment in their 2027 recruiting class. Three-star interior offensive lineman Lucas Rhoa has pledged to the program per Hayes Fawcett of On3. Texas was able to beat out Penn State, UCLA, and Oregon.
Rhoa is the nation’s No. 602 overall recruit and the No. 46 interior offensive lineman according to Rivals industry rankings. He’s also the No. 47 prospect in the state of California.
He is the fourth offensive lineman that the Longhorns have landed during the cycle, and the third on the interior. Rhoa continues an exceptional week for Texas as four-star defensive lineman Tyler Alexander and three-star wide receiver Kyron Brown both committed on Tuesday.
This has also been a great month for the Longhorns in terms of acquiring talent. They have gotten commitments from eight players with five-star cornerback John Meredith III, four-star defensive lineman Kasi Currie, and four-star edge JaBarrius Garror highlighting the haul.
