Second victim of fatal Lewisboro fire identified

New York State Police have identified the second of two people killed in a house fire in Lewisboro, Westchester County this spring.

Two residents died after the fire swept through 27 Old Shop Road in Lewisboro on April 16, according to New York State Police

Noel M. Rae, 93, was taken to an area hospital, where he died from injuries.

Allison L. Enwright, 52, was found dead inside the residence, troopers said Tuesday.

Three others inside the home escaped but taken to a medical center to be evaluedd

Three-alarm fire

The three-alarm fire drew emergency responders from the region. Several first responders were injured in the blaze, including two Lewisboro police officers who suffered burns (one of whom was severely burned and hospitalized) when they entered the burning home and were immediately met with a flashover condition,” according to Lewisboro police.

What’s next

State Police and Fire officials continue to investigate the cause and origin of the deadly fire.
