Award recognizes Wisconsin Pick ‘n Save employees

The Zero Hero Award is presented annually to an individual across Wisconsin’s 100 Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market stores who exemplifies the values of Roundy’s “Zero Hunger/Zero Waste” mission.

Clark’s monthly “Generations Cooking Program,” launched two years ago, brings together 30 participants ages 18 to 92, representing diverse abilities and food security needs, to connect and learn through the joy of cooking.

As part of the honor, Clark received a $1,000 grant for Ascend Services, along with a certificate of recognition.

The Pick ‘n Save executive team celebrated Clark’s achievement with remarks, photos and a cake.

“Sue’s vibrant personality and passion shine both in-store and the community,” Jay Forcey, Pick ‘n Save Manitowoc store director, said in the release. “We’re incredibly proud to see her recognized for her dedication and positive impact.”

The release notes Clark’s work is a “testament to the power of community-driven initiatives, inspiring others to create meaningful connections and lasting change.”

Pick ‘n Save is at 3300 Calumet Ave.
