Get ready. Aldi’s free Blind Box offer starts today, but supplies are limited.
“Blind boxes,” where you buy a box without knowing the contents, have exploded in popularity in the last few years, mostly for collectible toys, fashion, and beauty aids. Starting Monday, June 22, Aldi is offering blind box grocery bundles for free for a limited time.
A new Aldi Blind Box will be released every day through Thursday, June 25. At noon ET each day, customers can visit AldiBlindBox.com to claim that day’s free themed box, while supplies last. Boxes will be shipped directly to the lucky shoppers.
Aldi’s boxes are filled with “fresh picks from across every aisle,” the no-frills grocer said in a news release. A USA TODAY reporter who received one of the snack-themed boxes opened it to find cookies, crackers, chips, cheese, organic strawberries and mini cucumbers, hummus, dips, cured meat, and more.

The boxes will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis, and more than 100 boxes will be given away per drop, the company said.
Shoppers can watch Aldi’s Instagram account to see the next theme.
Aldi, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the U.S. this year, has been expanding rapidly in Florida. The German-born chain has already opened more than 20 new locations here in 2026, on top of 60 last year, bringing the total number of Florida Aldis to 315, far more than any other state in the nation. One just opened in Lady Lake by The Villages, and the next opens in Jacksonville on June 18.

“From premium meats and fresh produce to elevated snacks, cheeses and pantry go-tos, each ALDI Blind Box is packed with the quality, value and everyday favorites waiting across every aisle,| the Aldi Blind Box website says. The four themes for the boxes include:

From viral ALDI Finds to tried-and-true products shoppers love to tell their friends about, people love the thrill of discovering something new here. ”

If there isn’t an Aldi near you yet, just wait a few minutes. The popular discount grocery chain has been opening new locations as fast as it can, with plans to open more than 180 new stores nationwide in 2026.
Florida is an appealing market for several grocery store chains, with a rapidly growing and hungry population. Publix, Winn-Dixie, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, and more have all announced expansion plans into and across the Sunshine State.
