Vote: IndyStar girls lacrosse Player of the Year

The 2026 Indiana high school girls lacrosse season has come to a close which means its time for IndyStar readers to vote for the Player of the Year.

Ellie Carlson, Crown Point

Carlson recorded the second-most goals (85) and fourth-most points (101) in the state. She helped the Bulldogs to a 15-5 record.

Addie Faber, Zionsville

Faber ranked fourth in assists (38) and fifth in points (92) in the state. She helped the Eagles earn a 14-5 record in 2026 and shot the second-most goals (54) on the team.

Caroline Ford, Guerin Catholic

Ford helped Guerin Catholic (16-5) reach the 2A state title game as a junior. She was the team leader in points (125), ground balls (90), goals (77) and assists (48).

Madeline Gottlieb, Brownsburg

Gottlieb ranked third in the state in points (106) and goals (78). She tallied the second most assists (28) on the team as a junior. She helped Brownsburg (18-2) win its first state title in program history.

Grace Grabowski, Brownsburg

Grabowski led state-winning Brownsburg in ground balls (48) and assists (30). As a junior, she ranked third on the team with 53 goals.

Jackie Mabry, Carmel

Mabry led the Greyhounds with 56 points and 16 assists during her senior season. The DePauw recruit ranked second in goals (40) and ground balls (23).

Clara Nagel, Bishop Chatard

Nagel, an Eastern Michigan commit, earned the fourth-most ground balls (66) in the state as a junior. She helped the Trojans achieve a 18-2 record and a state championship win in 2A. She ranked second on the team in points (85), goals (68) and assists (17).

Annelise O’Connor, Cathedral

O’Connor fired the fifth-most goals (68) in the state for a Cathedral team that finished 11-7 on the season.

Audrey Papay, Guerin Catholic

Papay was Guerin Catholic’s starting goalie, who totaled 109 saves during her senior season. She earned a save percentage of 51.7% for a Golden Eagles team that reached the 2A state title game.

Maggie Piatt, Bishop Chatard

Piatt, a Manhattan University (NY) recruit, led the state in points (147), goals (95) and assists (52) during her senior year. She led the Trojans to their first state championship in program history with a 15-14 win over Guerin Catholic on May 30.

Sydney Rose, Zionsville

Rose ranked third in the state with 39 assists as a senior. She led the Eagles with 52 ground balls. She also ranked second in points (79) and caused turnovers (22) for a Zionsville team that posted a 14-5 record.

Ava Ventrone, Zionsville

Ventrone led the Eagles with 66 goals on 130 shots on goal as a junior. The Pitt commit also ranked second on the team in ground balls (41).
