Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (9-6) see their four-game winning streak snapped on Thursday night with a 108-101 loss to the Atlanta Dream (10-4) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Despite debuting her new Nike Signature “Caitlin1” shoes in the loss to the Dream, Caitlin Clark poured in 26 points on 8-for-17 shooting, 2-for-5 from 3-point land, and 8-for-12 at the free-throw line, while recording seven assists and two rebounds in her 31-minute effort.
While the Fever fought valiantly to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, Indiana’s inability to score in the game’s final minutes was ultimately the difference-maker. Caitlin Clark did not shoot the ball at all during the final 3:28 of the game.
With both teams meeting again on Saturday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, the Fever will look to avenge their loss to the Dream in the second of their back-to-back.
