Aldi is continuing its expansion across Northeast Florida with three new Jacksonville locations opening before Independence Day.
The popular discount grocery chain will kick off the expansion Thursday, June 18, with the grand opening of its new downtown Jacksonville store at 777 N. Market Street. The location will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m., approximately 30 minutes before the store officially opens.
Customers attending the ceremony will be among the first to shop the new store. The Market Street location is the first of three new Aldi stores opening in Jacksonville this summer, with additional locations set to debut on Monument Road and Atlantic Boulevard in the coming weeks.

Once the Monument Road and Atlantic Boulevard stores open later this summer, ALDI will have added five new Jacksonville stores this year alone.
The growth follows two additional Jacksonville-area openings in August and October of 2025. Beyond Jacksonville city limits, Aldi has also expanded its footprint with new stores in Fernandina Beach and St. Johns County, giving more Northeast Florida shoppers access to the retailer’s low-cost groceries and private-label products.
