HOW TO WATCH: Texas baseball hosts Oregon in Super Regional Game 2

The Texas Longhorns can punch their ticket to the College World Series tonight with a win over the Oregon Ducks in Game 2 of the NCAA Austin Super Regional at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Horns ran away from the Ducks last night, 11-3.

Texas got a good start from ace Dylan Volantis. The Thousand Oaks, California native didn’t have his best stuff. Oregon got multiple runners on base in almost every inning, but the lefty continually worked out of trouble and left with a shutout intact.

Adrian Rodriguez accounted for almost half of UT’s 11 runs. The shortstop had five RBIs on the night going 2 for 3 with a double, a single and two sacrifice flies. Casey Borba and Ethan Mendoza both hit long home runs in a game Texas never really looked threatened.

The two meet again an hour later in Austin on Sunday. If Texas wins, the Longhorns head to Omaha for a record 39th time. If the Ducks win tonight, the two teams will play a deciding Game 3 on Monday.
