SCSO season announcement
The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, one of only a handful of U.S. orchestras to perform year-round, is tuning up for its 18th season, featuring a 17-concert lineup that runs from June, 2026, to March, 2027.
Audiences can expect nine world premieres, nationally recognized guest artists, and a programming commitment in which more than half of every concert is dedicated to American composers.
Season 18 also introduces programming shaped into four distinct series. “The Epic” places the full orchestra center stage in major works and powerful musical storytelling. “The Live Playlist” brings film scores, Broadway, jazz and popular music to life. “Limited Edition” showcases special guest artists and one-of-a-kind collaborations, and “Close Up” offers more personal, immersive musical experiences for audiences of all ages.
The season opens at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 20, at The Scott Center at Holy Trinity in Melbourne.
There’s also the “Messiah Sing-Along,” “Music of the Night,” “American Masters” and “John Williams’ America: Side by Side.”
Tickets start at $35, with free admission for all concertgoers 18 and under and all college students. Through the orchestra’s “Symphony for Everyone” program, significantly discounted tickets are always available to ensure that anyone who wants to attend a concert can do so.
