“Love Island USA” fans, catch your breath.
After four consecutive days of new episodes to begin season 8 that spanned over 4 ½ hours, “Love Island USA” takes a break from your TV screens on Saturday, June 6.
But just for a night.
It’s been a wild first week of the new season with the introduction of the original 10 islanders, three new bombshells who have certainly done their jobs in shaking things up, doors opening and then closing on couples, secrets revealed, the first messy challenge, some early crashouts and jealousy among the girls.
This all will set the stage for the first recoupling and first dumping ceremony in the fifth episode on June 7.

No, there is not an episode of “Love Island USA” on Saturday, June 6.
It’s the first night without a new episode since the new season premiered on June 2.

The 22-year-old from Miami, Florida, joined the cast in episode 4 on Day 5 during the first challenge. He then made his way into the villa that night.

Where does Love Island USA take place?
“Love Island USA” takes place inside a luxurious villa on the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji.
It’s the same grouping of islands in Fiji where CBS’ “Survivor” films. “Survivor” is actually filming season 52 at the same time as “Love Island USA” season 8. But “Love Island USA” airs in real time while “Survivor” doesn’t air until months after it films.
Fiji has been the home of “Love Island USA” since season 5. Before that, the show set up its villa in locations in California, Las Vegas and Hawaii.
What days of the week is Love Island USA on?
In a normal week, “Love Island USA” is on every day except Wednesdays with Saturday’s episode its recap/highlights talk show, “After Sun.”
However, “After Sun” isn’t airing during the premiere week.
