Corning Inc. will host its “Legacy in Action: A 175th Anniversary Impact Fair” on Tuesday, June 9 at Centennial Park.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free and open to the public. It will celebrate the work of local nonprofit and economic development organizations serving the Corning community.
The Impact Fair will bring together community members, employees, and more than two dozen local organizations for a day of connection, learning, and hands-on activities that highlight the many resources available across the region, the company said.
“As Corning marks its 175th anniversary, this Impact Fair offers an opportunity to celebrate the organizations that help make life here stronger and more connected,” said Millicent Ruffin, Division Vice President, Corning Community Impact. “We’re proud to bring employees, neighbors, and local organizations together to highlight the many ways our community shows up for one another every day.”
Officials said attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from a wide range of nonprofit organizations, learn more about their missions, and participate in family-friendly activities throughout the event.
Corning is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2026 with events throughout the year. The celebration kicked off in January.
