TCAL, SJAA, VOL and TVL reveal 2026 all-league boys volleyball honors

Boys volleyball continues to grow throughout San Joaquin County.

This spring provided another example of why.

Across the Tri-City Athletic League, San Joaquin Athletic Association, Valley Oak League and Trans-Valley League, teams filled gyms, produced playoff contenders and showcased some of the Sac-Joaquin Section’s top talent.

From experienced seniors to emerging underclassmen, players throughout the area helped elevate the level of competition.

Those efforts didn’t go unnoticed.

Here are the TCAL, SJAA, VOL and TVL all-league selections for the 2026 season.

Tri-City Atlantic League

MVP: Carson Gates-Cecilio, outside hitter, Tracy

Co-Most Valuable Libero: Tayshawn Tek, libero, Lincoln

Co-Most Valuable Libero: Harrison Bernrueter, libero, St. Mary’s

Setter of the Year: Tyler Protz, setter, Lodi

Defensive Player of the Year: Isaac Martinez, middle blocker, Tracy

Offensive Player of the Year: Jakob Bentz, outside hitter, Lodi

1st Team All-League

2nd Team All-League

San Joaquin Athletic Association

MVP: Rashad Lewis, Edison

Offensive Player of the Year: Ayden Vang, Chavez

Defensive Player of the Year: Mitch Yang, Chavez

1st Team All-League

2nd Team All-League

Valley Oak League

MVP: Hosea Alimboyoguen, Mountain House

Most Outstanding Player: Andrew Gregory, Mountain House

Coach of the Year: Michelle Lebanan, Mountain House

1st Team All-League

2nd Team All-League

Honorable Mention

Trans Valley League

Most Valuable Player: Mason Tameling, Ripon Christian

Most Outstanding Player: Armando Ayon, Ripon
