The weeklong fashion event that pays homage to many a teeny bikini or sexy one-piece swimsuit − and the models who wear them − closed out with the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue runway show.
Florida It Girl Alix Earle and actress-comedienne Tiffany Haddish, two of the three covergirls for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, walked the runway at W South Beach along with other 2026 SI swimsuit models Jena Sims, Katie Austin and reality starlet Bethenny Frankel.
Pop singer Hilary Duff, who gained fame in the 2000s for her music and “Lizzie McGuire” fame, also earned the coveted title of 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl. However, Duff did not walk the runway show for the sports magazine’s fashion division.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue officially dropped May 12, 2026, with a VIP launch party two days later. The issue had a national release of May 26, 2026.
