The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a roster move at the defensive tackle position following Monday’s OTA practice.
The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna.
Bohanna was a sixth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 and has also spent time with Detroit, Tennessee, Seattle, and Green Bay.
Appearing in 40 career games and making 13 starts, Bohanna has played 652 total defensive snaps. Measuring in at 6-4 and listed at 355 pounds, Bohanna has been a run-first presence in the middle of the defensive fronts he’s been a part of.
He has logged 44 total tackles, including three for a loss. Bohanna’s impact won’t always show up on the stat sheet, but his ability to take on blocks and occupy space can help clog up running lanes.
The Jaguars had an open roster spot after UDFA wide receiver Alex Bullock was placed on the reserve/retired list recently.
