Midday meteorologist Ryan Kudish is leaving WFRV-TV after three years.
The Rhode Island native announced on Facebook that June 4 will be his last day at the Green Bay station and it “was fully my decision to move on.”
Kudish joined WFRV in June 2023 and does the weather for the noon and 4 p.m. newscasts Monday through Thursday and also appears Sunday morning and evening.
“Thank you all so much for the support over the past few years. As many of you know, this was my dream to be on television and my first job in news and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything these past few years,” he wrote in the May 28 Facebook post.
He did not immediately indicate what might be next for him but wrote he’ll have more to share later this week.
Kudish is a graduate of Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and a master’s degree in applied meteorology. WFRV was his first career stop after graduation.
The WFRV weather team is anchored by chief meteorologist Luke Sampe, a 13-year veteran of the station, and morning meteorologist Jordan Lamers, who has been there since 2015. Meteorologist Nathan Himpsl joined in June 2025, after Alexis Staniec’s departure.
