Mason residents will now have to take a longer drive to eat at Fricker’s.
Fricker’s in Mason closed its doors for good on Tuesday, May 26, according to a Facebook announcement.
The wings sports bar operated its Governor’s Hill Drive location in Mason for 13 years, the announcement said.
Before closing, the restaurant’s Mason location posted on Facebook that it was open for regular hours on Memorial Day.
The two Fricker’s closest to the closed Mason restaurant are on 1580 Goodman Ave. in North College Hill and 4810 Roosevelt Blvd. in Middletown.
The first Fricker’s was opened in Dayton. As of May 28, there are 23 Fricker’s across Ohio, as well as one in Indiana and another in Michigan.
