It’s time to take a look at the top spring sports performances over the past week for high school athletes around the area.
Find out which performances stood out as the strongest outings from performances across baseball, softball, and boys and girls track and field.
Here is a look at the top high school performances around the Central Wisconsin area from May 18-25.
Baseball:
Levi Cullen, Amherst: Cullen tallied two hits, one run, three RBI including a triple in a 8-0 win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
Daxton Diethelm, Athens: Diethelm finished with three hits and one run in a 5-1 victory over Assumption.
Devin Cherney, Auburndale: Cherney notched three hits, two runs and four RBI in a 14-0 win over Phillips.
Josh Lundgren, Auburndale: Lundgren yielded only two hits and zero earned runs in five innings pitched, helping Auburndale beat Phillips 14-0.
Riley Spindler, Stratford: Spindler tallied three hits , three runs and two RBI in a 15-1 win over Nekooosa on May 18.
Ashton Czapnski, Almond-Bancroft: Czapnski yielded six hits and two earned runs while striking out nine in a 5-2 loss on May 19.
Silas Cronkrite, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln: Cronkrite led the Red Raiders with two hits including a triple in Wisconsin Rapids 8-4 loss to D.C. Everest.
Adam Kautzer, Loyal: Kautzer finished with two hits, and zero earned runs while striking out seven over five innings pitched in a 10-0 win over Owen-Withee.
Tyler Baars, Mosinee: Baars notched three hits, three runs and a game-high of five RBI, including a triple and a home run in a 19-3 win over Lakeland.
Softball:
Oakley Omernik, Almond-Bancroft: Omernik led Almond-Bancroft with four hits, three runs and six RBI in a 21-2 win over Marshall on May 21.
Sophia Chapa, Almond-Bancroft: Chapa belted three hits, and game-high five RBI including a home run in a 11-0 win over Rosholt.
Riya Ceballos, Almond-Bancroft: Ceballos belted a three-run home run in a 11-0 win over Marshall on May 18.
Lexi Carlton, Almond-Bancroft: Carlton yielded one hit and zero earned runs while striking out seven in a 11-0 win over Rosholt on May 18.
Ivy Boelk, Amherst: Boelk cashed in two hits and two runs including a home run in a 16-0 win over Weyauwega-Fremont on Monday, May 18.
Sam Nooyen, Amherst: Nooyen yielded zero hits or earned runs while striking out six in a 16-0 win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
Jorja Knetter, Edgar: Knetter tallied three hits, four runs, four RBI and a home run in a 12-6 win over Pittsville on Thursday, May 21.
Rayanne Clendenning, Iola-Scandinavia: Clendenning had four hits and two runs including a home run in a 20-0 win over Wild Rose on Tuesday, May 19. On the mound, she yielded zero hits or earned runs while striking out three.
Molly Fox, Marshfield: Over nine innings pitched, Fox yielded seven hits, one earned run while striking out 12 in a 5-3 win over Wausau West on Tuesday, May 19.
Rylee Hraby, Medford: Over seven innings pitched, two hits and zero earned runs while striking out 10 in a 2-0 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
Addyson Henrich, Mosinee: Henrich tallied two hits, two runs and three RBI including a home run in a 12-0 win overLakeland.
Taelyn Jirschele, Mosinee: Jirschele tallied three hits, two runs and two RBI including a home run in a 12-0 win over Lakeland on Tuesday, May 19.
Jayda Moenke, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Moenke notched two hits, two runs and two RBI including a home run in a 14-6 win over Shiocton.

Adam McKaig, D.C. Everest: McKaig took first place in the 100-meter race at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Parker Schmitt, Wausau East: Schmitt finished in first place in the 200-meter and 400-meter races at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Cooper Erickson, Stevens Point: Erickson snatched first place in the 800-meter and 1,600 meter race at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Bennett Story, Stevens Point: Story finished first in the 3,200-meter race at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Zander Zawislan, Stratford: Zawislan finished first in the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter races at the Marawood Conference Meet on Monday, May 18.
Isaiah Kraft, Edgar: Kraft notched first place in the 800-meter race at the Marawood Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Ethan Knecht, Marshfield: Knecht took first place in the shot put event at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
Michael Dolan, Assumption: Dolan finished in first place in the 1,600-meter and 3,200 meter races at the Marawood Conference meet on Monday, May 18.
