What channel is CJ Cup on today? PGA Tour TV schedule at Byron Nelson

With the PGA Championship in the rearview, the PGA Tour heads to Texas for the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson. The Dallas/Fort Worth area has hosted the tournament since 1926, taking on the name of the legendary golfer in 1968.

Another star might stake his claim to the tournament though, if last year is any indication. Scottie Scheffler, who lives in the DFW, took his home course to task by tying the PGA Tour record with a 31-under-par 253. The top-ranked golfer in the world won his first tournament of the year and has five top-fives since then, though he followed up a run of three straight runner-up finishes by coming in a pedestrian 14th last week at Aronimink.

Scheffler is far and away the star of the field, with No. 9 Si Woo Kim the only other player in the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings. That’s not to say there isn’t star power here: Fellow Dallas native Jordan Spieth is expected to contend, along with Brooks Koepka, who has finished just outside the top 10 twice since the Masters. Garrick Higgo will debut his new caddie after making a switch in light of missing the cut at the PGA Championship because of a late arrival.

CJ Cup Byron Nelson picks, predictions and odds

Scottie Scheffler: “I would typically scoff at anyone who bets on a player whose odds are this short, but I have not nailed an outright winner yet this season and sometimes, you just need to take the layup. Scheffler is far and away the best player in this field by just about every metric.” – Nick Stavas, Golfweek

ODDS: Here are the golfers with the best odds to win the tournament, according to BetMGM.

Where is the Byron Nelson played?

Opening in 2002, TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas rests about 40 miles north of Dallas. It has hosted the Byron Nelson tournament since 2021 and recently completed a $22 million renovation overseen by Lanny Wadkins. The par-71 course measures 7,385 yards.

Who won the 2025 CJ Cup?

Last year’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson saw Scottie Scheffler shift his run of strong play into high gear, coming off three straight top-10 finishes to win at TPC Craig Ranch by eight strokes over Erik van Rooyen. The world No. 1 mastered the course, shooting 31 under par and going 10 under in the first round. Scheffler would win the PGA Championship two weeks later, then add the Memorial to his ledger to give him three wins in May.
