The Florida Gators are back atop the SEC when it comes to being the most well-rounded athletic program.
Florida won the 2025-26 USA Today Network SEC All-Sports Title, bringing home the trophy for the first time since 2017-18 and 29th time in school history.
UF edged Texas by a narrow margin based on the strength of its SEC titles in men’s basketball, women’s indoor track and field, women’s outdoor track and field and women’s cross country.
“Competing in the Southeastern Conference means facing many of the nation’s premier programs every day,” Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin said. “Winning the USA Today Network SEC Overall All-Sports Trophy is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the commitment, resilience and excellence demonstrated by Gator coaches, staff and student-athletes throughout the year.”
Florida also scored high in men’s golf (SEC runner up to LSU), men’s swimming and diving (SEC runner up to Texas), women’s golf (13.5 out of 16 points) and women’s softball (13 out of 16 points). The scoring system is based on the total points for a school’s finish in each SEC sport it competes in divided by the total number of teams competing in sports that a school provides.
With SEC titles this year in men’s basketball and women’s indoor/outdoor track and cross country, Florida extended its streak of winning at least one SEC title to 48 consecutive seasons, the longest active streak in the conference. UF’s 270 all-time SEC titles are the most in the SEC.
Texas won the top spot in the SEC men’s division while Tennessee topped all SEC women’s programs. But UF won the overall title based on its combined third place finish in the men’s division and second place finish in the women’s division.
