One person died after a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 270 near Dublin, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.
At 1:48 a.m. May 20, a tractor-trailer southbound on I-270 just south of Tuttle Crossing near Dublin slowed down for stopped traffic, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. A Toyota Camry that was also travelling south on I-270 rear-ended the tractor trailer, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead at 3:43 a.m. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, and neither driver had any passengers.
The sheriff’s office is withholding the name of the driver who died until family can be notified.
