Michigan State baseball will play for the opportunity to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday evening.
The Spartans are one win away from locking up a spot in the single elimination format of the Big Ten Tournament. Michigan State topped No. 5 seed Purdue in their first Big Ten Tournament game on Tuesday, and now will play No. No. 8 seed Iowa on Wednesday evening with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line.
First pitch between the Spartans and Hawkeyes is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
The winner of this matchup between Michigan State and Iowa will play No. 4 seed USC on Friday morning in the quarterfinals. The loser of this matchup will play on Thursday afternoon in a win-or-go-home game to reach the quarterfinals.
