Cincinnati Enquirer readers showed up to choose the next Student of the Week for the period ending May 15.
Each week, these ballots are posted at 7 a.m. on Mondays. Like the popular athlete of the week ballots, voters may cast a ballot once an hour until the 2 p.m. deadline on Fridays.
School representatives such as teachers, counselors, club advisers, communication staff and principals can nominate these high school students by 5 p.m. on Thursdays.
Here is this week’s winner.
Marley Wardlow, Colerain High School
Marley Wardlow is one of the kindest students at Colerain High School. She is incredibly positive and welcoming to all those around her. She starts every day with a smile and greets teachers and classmates as she enters the classroom.
Marley’s many great attributes do not end there. She is a member of Colerain’s swim and club swim teams and always has positive things to share about them. She encourages those around her to get involved and join. She is a Sophomore Class Officer and a member of her school’s Hope Squad. She speaks highly of all her extracurriculars and takes to heart the mission of supporting and including those around her.
Marley is an example to her classmates as she is taking an academically rigorous course load of multiple AP and higher-level classes. Marley’s commitment to her academics and improvement of school culture deserves to be commended at Colerain High School.
