The road to Oklahoma City begins Friday as No. 9 seed Florida State softball opens NCAA Tournament play by hosting its 12th consecutive Tallahassee Regional.
The Seminoles face ASUN champion Stetson at noon in the double-elimination opener, followed by UCF vs. Jacksonville State at 2:30 p.m. Winners advance in the bracket, while losers move to Saturday elimination games.
FSU, a heavy favorite at home, can secure a Super Regional berth, where it would face the UCLA-hosted Los Angeles Regional winner. FSU enters with familiarity against multiple opponents as it pursues another Women’s College World Series trip again.
