The Green Bay Packers will host the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field as one of the team’s nine home games in 2026, and it appears Carolina’s visit will be under the primetime lights in Green Bay. Per Kyle Bailey of WFNZ in Charlotte, the Packers will host the Panthers for “Thursday Night Football” on Oct. 29 during Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season.
The report is unverified. The full regular season schedule is due later on Thursday.
The Panthers beat the Packers at Lambeau Field last season, snapping a three-game Green Bay win streak and creating one of the season’s biggest upsets. The Packers were favored by 13 points but lost 16-13 when Ryan Fitzgerald hit a 49-yard field goal as time expired.
The Packers also lost tight end Tucker Kraft to a season-ending injury during the contest.
The Panthers went on to win the NFC South at 8-9 overall. Both teams lost in the NFC Wild Card Round.
The Packers are set to face all four NFC South opponents during the 2026 regular season.
The Packers and Panthers last faced off in primetime during the 2020 season.
