Ventura County Voter Guide: June 2 primary election

As the June 2 primary nears, the Ventura County Star has you covered for local and statewide races.

Local voters also will be asked to elect California’s governor, other state-level posts and pick winners in Congressional and state Assembly districts.

In county-level races, a candidate who receives more than 50% of the votes in the primary wins the seat outright. If no candidate earns more than half of the votes, the top two finishers advance to the general election in November.
