The Pistons are coming off a 116-109 loss to the Cavs in Game 3, one that cut Detroit’s series lead to 2-1. With a win Monday, the Pistons would be one win away from the Eastern Conference finals and a postseason rematch with the 3-seed New York Knicks.

J.B. Bickerstaff on Tobias Harris: ‘He sees where a need is.’

Pistons coach J.B Bickerstaff was asked about forward Tobias Harris’ offensive contributions over the postseason, which have included eight-straight games of at least 20 points scored.

“His want to help this team and it’s as simple as that,” Bickerstaff said. “He sees where a need is and he has the ability to fill that need.”

Harris has averaged 21.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Pistons in the postseason despite averaging just 13.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg in the regular season, turning into a secondary offensive weapon in the playoffs behind star Cade Cunningham.

Pistons-Cavs Game 5 time revealed

Game 5 of the Pistons-Cavs series will take place at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, May 13, but the tipoff time will depend on the outcome of Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinal series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Should the Lakers win Game 4 at home tonight, Wednesday’s Pistons-Cavs game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET. But if the Thunder win and complete a four-game sweep, Wednesday’s Pistons-Cavs game will tip off at 8 p.m. ET.

Pistons Game 4 prediction

Omari Sankofa II, Detroit Free Press: The Cavaliers looked rejuvenated in Cleveland after two poor efforts in Detroit. Even so, they couldn’t hold onto a 16-point halftime advantage for even a full quarter, with the Pistons taking the lead late in the third with a 28-9 run. On Saturday, the Pistons lacked their usual attention to detail. On Monday, they should get back on track and set up a potential series-clinching Game 5 in Detroit on Wednesday. The pick: Pistons 114, Cavaliers 110.

Pistons uniforms vs Cavaliers in Game 4

As they have for every postseason game so far this year, the Pistons will wear their classic white uniforms for Game 4 against Cleveland. The Cavs, meanwhile, will wear the blue “Classic Edition” uniforms they wore during Game 3.
