Lovebugs have been making their presence known, flitting around parking lots, having a fling on our car windows and even bumping into us as they focus on their significant others.

Did you know? Lovebugs are flies related to mosquitoes and gnats, according to the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

2. ‘CLAVICULAR’ CHARGED IN FLORIDA: Is it legal shoot alligators here?

Clavicular, a “looksmaxxing” social media influencer, has been charged in Florida for allegedly shooting at an alligator in the Everglades.

Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is facing charges after Florida Fish and Wildlife officials reviewed a video appearing to show people firing shots from an airboat at an alligator, prompting an investigation, WTVJ-TV reported. Two other people, including Andrew Morales, known on social media as “Cuban Tarzan,” also face charges, per USA TODAY.

The alleged incident happened in March at the Francis S. Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area boat ramp dock. Peters was charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place or residential property.

Attorneys for Peters told USA TODAY their client was “following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide” and that “no animals or people were harmed.”
