Observations and highlights from Day 2 of Bears' 2026 rookie minicamp

The Chicago Bears continued their 2026 rookie minicamp on Saturday with their second practice of the weekend up at Halas Hall. For the second straight day, the players did drills inside the Walter Payton Center as the team continues to integrate the draft selections and undrafted free agents into the offense, defense, and special teams.

One player who was participating on a tryout basis already did enough in the coaching staff’s eyes to warrant a contract, however. Wide receiver Scotty Miller signed a one-year deal on Saturday and will be with the team going into training camp. The former Super Bowl champion was the most notable veteran trying out with the Bears and now gives them depth in the receiving room.
