Stacia Haynie, president of Midwestern State University, has been inducted into the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Hall of Fame, according to a media release from the 80th Flying Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force Base.
Haynie was inducted because of “her leadership and commitment to strengthening the partnership between MSU, Sheppard Air Force Base and the ENJJPT program,” the media release said.
“Her leadership and dedication demonstrate the power of community-military partnerships,” Col. Jeffrey Shulman, 80th Flying Training Wing commander, said in the media release. “By directly supporting our Airmen and families, Dr. Haynie enables our core mission: flying and fixing jets to producefighter pilots for the NATO alliance.”
The release said Haynie has “consistently recognized the critical connection between the Wichita Falls communityand Sheppard AFB, championing initiatives that enhance the educational and personal lives ofservice members, international partners and their families.”
A key milestone in the partnership was the opening of the MSU Military Education Center in April 2026, the media release said.
The project stemmed from discussions with Sheppard AFB leadership to better servethe educational needs of airmen and provides a centralized, one-stop resource for military affiliated students.Haynie’s leadership has also been instrumental in expanding support for the ENJJPT program.
“MSU now offers significant scholarships and in-state tuition waivers for ENJJPT participants, as well as their spouses and dependents, directly benefiting NATO allies stationed at Sheppard AFB,” the media release said.
The ENJJPT Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on the 80th Flying Training Wing, its mission and its vital connection to the local community, according to the media release.
