The Indiana Fever aren’t the ones who believe Caitlin Clark is going to have a major bounce-back 2026 campaign.
The former Hawkeye superstar is coming off an injury-riddled 2025 season, where she was limited to just 13 games. Even in many of the games she did play, it was painfully clear that she wasn’t anywhere close to 100%. Now with a full offseason to rest, recover, and recoup, Clark is looking to quiet the doubters in her third WNBA season.
She could shut up all of the naysayers if she did what she’s currently favored to do. According to BetMGM, Clark is the preseason favorite to win the 2026 WNBA MVP Award. Here are the current top ten favorites to win the award, according to BetMGM.
The fact that the oddsmakers have Clark as the slight favorite over Wilson, who won the award last season, shows just how much they believe she’s due for a monster season. The last time Clark was fully healthy for a whole season was her rookie campaign, where she was named an All-Star, broke numerous WNBA records, and walked away with the Rookie of the Year Award.
A healthy Clark makes for a very dangerous Fever squad, one that’s capable of winning the WNBA Championship. And if that happens, Clark will be right in the mix to take home the most prestigious individual award in the league.
