Indy-area restaurants with Mother's Day brunch reservations, walk-ins

The biggest day in brunch is upon us. If you plan to be among the millions of Americans out to brunch this Mother’s Day, May 10, you’ll have plenty of options in the Indianapolis area. Whether you’re looking to get a reservation for a buffet on the calendar or just want to stroll in somewhere the morning of, these spots have you covered.

From 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., this downtown steakhouse just across from Gainbridge Fieldhouse will serve a Mother’s Day brunch buffet that includes a raw bar, assorted pastries, a carving station with prime rib and leg of lamb, an omelet station and other breakfast and brunch fare including blueberry-cream cheese French toast, biscuits and gravy, baked chicken and salad. Tickets cost $79 per adult; children 12 and under eat for $21.

Gather 22

Where: 22 E. 22nd St., (317) 258-2222, gather22.com

Reservations: Strongly encouraged by phone or online. Tickets for high tea can be purchased at gather22.com/high-tea-2026.

In addition to an extensive high-end brunch menu with items like steak and eggs ($28), a chorizo-patty burger ($20), seasonal French toast ($18) and vegan sweet potato hash ($17), Gather 22 will offer a “high tea” meal featuring a global assortment of hot and iced tea, finger sandwiches, scones and pastries sourced from Moonlight Baking Company. Tickets for high tea, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every weekend through the end of May, cost $55 per person and can be purchased at gather22.com/high-tea-2026.

Kountry Kitchen

From 1:30-4 p.m., this Kennedy-King soul food spot will offer a brunch menu that includes an appetizer of soul rolls (think egg rolls, but with soul food), Caesar salad, carving station prime rib and a selection of brunch staples like fried chicken and Belgian waffles, made-to-order omelets and other Southern-inspired fare. For dessert, guests can sample small servings of peach cobbler, banana pudding and strawberry shortcake parfaits. General admission tickets cost $71.21 each, tickets for children ages 5 to 9 cost $33.85 each and children younger than 5 eat for $7.18 each.

Parkside Public House

This Garfield Park gastropub’s Mother’s Day brunch buffet will feature a choice of quiche (bacon and cheddar, caramelized onion or roasted red pepper and feta), salad (Caesar, garden, southwest, pear and bleu cheese or caprese) and two miniature bottles of Prosecco. Each meal costs $55.

Sahm’s Restaurant and The Roost in Nora

This pair of Sahm’s Hospitality Group restaurants will offer identical Mother’s Day brunch buffets that include, among other items: pancakes, biscuits and gravy, stuffed beef tenderloin, pulled pork and Buffalo chicken sliders, assorted fruit and vegetables, finger sandwiches, shrimp cocktail and assorted desserts. Guests 12 and older eat for $34 each, guests 6 to 12 for $17 and guests 3 to 5 for $8. Seatings are available from 9-11:30 a.m.

Rize

Each of the Cunningham Restaurant Group’s three northside brunch restaurants still has reservations available between 8 a.m. and early afternoon. Rize’s menu features staples like omelets ($15 to $17), Eggs Benedict ($17) and breakfast sandwiches ($15 to $18), plus salads and grain bowls ($14 to $18).

Indy-area brunch spots where you can walk in Mother’s Day

Borage

Where: 1609 Lynhurst Drive, (317) 734-3958, borageeats.com

The project of chefs Josh Kline and Zoe Taylor (formerly of Milktooth), this combination restaurant, bakery and market in Speedway serves a high-end take on classic diner fare like buttermilk pancakes ($12), breakfast plates and skillets ($13 to $14) and smothered biscuits ($15). You can also order from expansive coffee and alcoholic drink lists and pick up sweets from the market’s well-stocked pastry case. They don’t take reservations on weekdays, so all diners have an equal shot at getting a table on the busiest brunch day of the year.

Café Patachou

Where: Multiple Indianapolis-area locations, cafepatachou.com

This longtime Indianapolis brunch staple (now with locations in Ohio and Kentucky), renowned for its signature blend of casual and high-end brunch fare, offers a hefty lineup of omelets ($15 to $17), sandwiches ($10 to $17), soups ($6 to $16) and salads (around $15). In addition to the café’s self-serve coffee bar, guests can order from a slim list of craft lattes and cocktails ($7 to $14).

Garden Table

Though Garden Table’s three Indy-area locations take reservations Monday through Friday, seating is first-come, first-serve on weekends. Guests can choose from familiar dishes like Eggs Benedict ($16), quiche ($15) and blueberry pancakes ($14) as well as lamb bacon ($6 a la carte), poached pear salad ($14) and a selection of cold-pressed juices ($9 to $13).

Good Morning Mama’s

Located right next to sister restaurant Mama Carolla’s in SoBro, Good Morning Mama’s serves classic diner food with an Italian tilt. Eggs Benedict ($14), breakfast sandwiches ($7) and three-egg omelets ($10 to $13) join house specialties like eggs in purgatory ($12 to $14), breakfast burritos ($14) and Hawaiian loco moco ($13). Good Morning Mama’s also offers a lunch menu with various salads and sandwiches ($9 to $15) and a handful of items for small children (around $5).

Love Handle

Cheesy jalapeño grits with beef tongue, fried chicken and waffles and piled-high breakfast sandwiches ($15 to $20) are among the menu mainstays at this eclectic Mass Ave haunt. Love Handle also offers a rotation of daily specials and desserts.

Rosie’s Place

All three Rosie’s locations will be open Mother’s Day serving the restaurant’s classic lineup of brunch dishes like pancakes ($10.50 to $12.25, gluten-free available), French toast ($11.95), assorted breakfast plates, sandwiches and burritos ($12 to $15). Rosie’s does not accept reservations, but guests can see wait times online to secure a spot in line at any of the three locations the day of their visit.
