It will be a sunny start to the week in Akron.
But rain and some rumbles of thunder are expected to return by Tuesday and Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says the rain will bring in below normal temperatures and sunny skies.
Severe storms are expected to stay south and west of Greater Akron.
Overnight lows in the 30s are expected by Thursday and continue through Saturday.
Daily highs in the 50s are expected starting Thursday with a high in the 60s by Sunday.

Tuesday night: A chance of showers after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8 a.m. High near 60. Light northeast wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Wednesday night: Showers likely, mainly before 8 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
