Thursday

District 7-3A

No. 1 Seminole Ridge (15-2) 34, No. 3 South Fork (12-5) 7: The Bulldogs clashed with the Hawks with the district title on the line for the second consecutive season. And for the second year in a row, South Fork had to settle for runner-up honors.

Allowing more than 300 yards of offense while throwing a pair of interceptions, the Bulldogs were denied at home against the defending Class 3A state champions.

Aubrey Fogel completed 22 of 31 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns to lead Seminole Ridge. Three of those scores went to Avaree Brant, who had eight catches for 163 yards. Brant also had half of her team’s sacks on defense.

Stats were unavailable for South Fork, who collected shutouts against Forest Hill and Martin County in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. The Bulldogs should be safe for the postseason as they entered districts ranked sixth in Region 2-3A.

District 14-2A

No. 1 Dr. Joaquin Garcia (12-5) 6, No. 3 Jensen Beach (9-8) 0: In a game that needed three overtimes, the visiting Falcons were on the wrong side of a defensive struggle against the Bulldogs.

Stats were unavailable.

Jensen Beach waits to see where it falls in the Region 4-2A bracket. The team entered districts ranked seventh in the region, holding the final at-large bid.

District 10-1A

No. 1 John Carroll Catholic (13-4) 7, No. 2 Avon Park (15-3) 0: The Rams rode three consecutive shutouts to its second straight district title. That stretch concluded with a low-scoring affair at home against the Red Devils. Visit TCPalm.com for a full recap of this game.

Wednesday

District 10-1A

No. 1 Fort Pierce Central (11-5) 20, No. 3 Jupiter (13-4) 0: The Cobras never trailed at home against the Warriors to extend their district title streak to four and season-best winning streak to five. Visit TCPalm.com for a full recap of this game.
