The temperature around Stark County is started to rise — for several days in a row, at least — and more high school softball games were finally able to be played in between rain last week. It’s a good time to look at the top high school softball teams in the Greater Canton area in our initial power poll of the 2026 season.
The poll will be split into two groups for the duration of the season: bigger schools for Divisions I, II and III, and smaller schools for Divisions IV, V, VI and VII.
