The American Red Cross confirmed that 34 people were displaced after a fire ripped through an apartment building in Covington Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported just before 1 p.m. April 17 on the 700 block of Edgecliff Road.

According to Red Cross officials, the fire impacted 13 units in the building.
The organization has made an overnight shelter available for those impacted by the blaze.
The shelter is located at the Wilder City Building, 520 Licking Pike, in Wilder.
Those impacted by the fire are asked to contact the Red Cross at 1-800-RedCross.
