USC women’s basketball officially signs five-star Sara Okeke

Last month, USC women’s basketball picked up a commitment from five-star Sara Okeke. Okeke is the third five-star to join the Trojans in the class of 2026.

Now, it is official, as on Wednesday, Okeke signed with USC.

“We could not possibly be more excited to add Sara Okeke to the Trojan Women’s Basketball family,” head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said in a statement. “Sara is an elite talent who brings size, athleticism, skill and endless upside to our front court. She is relentless on both sides of the ball, as well as on the glass; her fit with our program is ideal. Beyond the court, Sara is an exceptional young woman with a story that I know will inspire many as she becomes a fixture in Los Angeles and amongst the USC community. We are thrilled that signing day is here, and that Sara is now officially a Trojan.”

In addition to Okeke, USC landed fellow 2026 five-stars Saniyah Hall and Sitaya Fagan. Even with a loaded roster next season, all three players have enough talent to come in and immediately contribute for the Trojans.
