Got something to ask the Artemis II astronauts? U.S. Rep. Mike Haridopolos is fielding questions from constituents for use during a live call with the crew on Thursday, April 9, as their Orion spacecraft continues trekking back toward Earth.
NASA will broadcast the call worldwide during its live mission coverage, which is streaming on the agency’s YouTube channel.
To submit a question for the astronauts for possible use, visit Haridopolos’ U.S. House website at https://haridopolos.house.gov/. The website leads to a link to fill out your name, contact information, address and question for the astronauts.
A link is also available on Rep. Haridopolos’ official Facebook page. The Indian Harbour Beach Republican chairs the House Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics.
The Artemis II crew consists of NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman (commander), Victor Glover (pilot) and Christina Koch (mission specialist) and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen (mission specialist).
Thursday’s call will occur during Day 9 — the final full day in space — of the groundbreaking Artemis II mission.
The crew will guide their Orion on a return-trajectory correction burn and study procedures to prepare to reenter Earth’s atmosphere and splash down in the Pacific Ocean on Friday, April 10.
