ASHLAND – The Salvation Army Ashland Kroc Center’s Youth Theatre program will present “Pure Imagination” at 7 p.m. April 24 and 3 p.m. April 26, at the Ashland Theatre.
This musical revue features showstopping songs from MTI’s Broadway Junior collection, according to the community announcement.
Debuting their first Broadway revue at The Ashland Theatre, 212 Center St., Ashland, The Ashland Kroc Center Youth Theatre will bring to the stage unforgettable favorites from “Seussical,” “Shrek The Musical,” and Disney hits like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Frozen.”
More than 40 local, young performing and backstage artists from Ashland, Mansfield and other surrounding communities are coming together for this joyful celebration of creativity, storytelling, and pure theatrical magic.

Plus, special guest stars Payne Schwartz and Emma Henderson of Ontario from The Ashland Kroc Center’s Youth Theatre’s production of “Shrek The Musical, Jr.” will be joining the troupe for one last encore performance.
The production of “Pure Imagination” is being led by Directors Majors Billy and Annalise Francis, and Stage Manager Amy Morgan.
“Filled with vibrant characters, magical moments, and nonstop musical fun, Pure Imagination is the ultimate feel-good experience for families,” said Major Billy Francis in a news release. “Whether you’re a longtime theatre lover or brand new to the magic, this high-energy revue promises to delight, inspire, and leave you smiling long after the final note.”
