Evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted as air tankers from across the state continue to fly suppression missions to ensure the fire does not reignite.

The Springs Fire has not grown since early Saturday. Although it moved quickly throughout Friday afternoon and evening, conditions have allowed firefighters to get control.

First reported at 11:01, Friday, wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour pushed the fire toward nearby communities, forcing evacuation orders.

Still, no structures have been damaged or destroyed.

As of Sunday, 147 personnel are assigned to the fire, down from 260 on Saturday.
