“Harry Potter” fans are getting a special Christmas present this year.
HBO Max released the trailer for the series’ upcoming TV reboot, with the first season, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” dropping on Dec. 25, 2026. Season 1 will have eight episodes.
To celebrate, Starbucks is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery on new Harry Potter-themed drinks and mugs.
The collaboration, which launched March 23 in select markets, draws “inspiration from the first ride aboard the Hogwarts Express to spontaneous adventures in Hogsmeade,” according to Starbucks.

The coffee chain also announced the “Secret Popstar Refresher” on March 23 for the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special. It is a grande Strawberry Acai Refresher with raspberry cold foam, two pumps of raspberry syrup and no strawberry inclusions – the dried strawberries typically in the refresher − per the Starbucks app.
Customers who know the recipe or use the Starbucks mobile app can order the refresher variation.
