The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Orlando Magic on Saturday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Lakers are clearly on a roll after eight straight victories, including victories over quality teams such as the New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets. They’re in third place in the Western Conference with a 45-25 record and are 2.5 games ahead of the fourth-place Rockets, and Luka Doncic is playing some of the best basketball of his life.
He’s averaging 40.9 points a game during this streak while shooting a high percentage, and his defense has even improved. While it is unlikely he will win this season’s NBA MVP award, there are signs that he’s starting to get more consideration for the award.
Orlando, meanwhile, is 38-31 and in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. After going on a recent seven-game winning streak, it has lost three in a row, and it has struggled with the injury problems that forward Franz Wagner, who is second on the team in scoring average, has been dealing with.
This will be the second and final matchup between these two teams this season. On Feb. 24, the Lakers lost to the Magic 110-109 after leading by 12 points. That was the game where Doncic passed up what seemed like a decent look at what could’ve been the game-winning 3-pointer before LeBron James attempted a nearly impossible trey just before the final horn.
