CHAMPAIGN — Manual completed its quest for a sixth state championship by beating Quincy Notre Dame, 60-55 in the Class 2A boys basketball state championship game on Saturday. This is the sixth state title for the Rams and first since 1997.
Jaquan Brown scored a game-high 23 points, while Josh Humbles made 3-of-4 free throws in the final 20 seconds to seal the victory.
