Michigan basketball is one win away from a second Big Ten trophy.
Following the No. 3 Wolverines’ 68-65 win over No. 23 Wisconsin, top-seeded Michigan will play in the final of the 2026 Big Ten Tournament on Sunday, March 15, at United Center in Chicago. The Wolverines will play the 7-seed Purdue Boilermakers, with the final tipping off at 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS).
Michigan overcame the Badgers, the only Big Ten team to beat the Wolverines in the regular season this year, in their semifinal win on Saturday. If Michigan wins on Sunday, it will lock up its second straight Big Ten tournament title.

The Wolverines are widely expected to earn a No. 1 seed for the upcoming NCAA Tournament regardless of the outcome on Sunday. However, the objective for Michigan has been clear all week, with Dusty May’s team looking to put another trophy in the case.
