Tyler Tachman, Hawk Central: Iowa has firsthand experience of how difficult it is to win on the road, and Penn State has proven it can make life tough on good teams. So, winning and staying healthy, no matter how pretty or ugly, would make this a successful trip.
Penn State has let some of its opponents go off for monster offensive performances this season. Indiana exploded for 113 points. Michigan scored 110. Purdue, Wisconsin, Maryland and Northwestern each scored in the 90s.
This has the makings of a matchup where Iowa can gain some serious traction offensively. The Hawkeyes have not shot better than 31.3% from beyond the arc in any of the last six games. Iowa could use this as a chance to get it going from long range.
