The 2025 college women’s lacrosse regular season for Mid-Hudson schools began on on the first full weekend of February and will conclude in May. Army and Marist play in NCAA Division I; and, SUNY New Paltz and Mount Saint Mary play in NCAA Division III.
The head coaches for our local teams are Michelle Tumolo (Army); Keith Detelj (Marist); Randy Vite (New Paltz); and, Mike Lowell (Mount Saint Mary).

Binghamton 8, at Marist 7 (March 1): Binghamton snapped a 7-7 tie with 7:37 to play. Marist (1-5) has dropped two in a row. Anne Shoine scored three goals and Kate Gaven two for the Red Foxes, who were perfect on 18 clears and led in draws 13-6. Megan Morris stopped eight of 16 shots.
at Skidmore 13, New Paltz 6 (March 1): Skidmore led 9-2 after three quarters. Kaitlyn Shaw scored three goals and Morgan Atwater two for the Hawks (0-1), who managed only 15 of 20 clears and led in ground balls 25-22. Gabriella Tommaso stopped one of six shots and Piper Mascaros stopped one of nine in split action.
at Maine Maritime 17, Mount St. Mary 8 (March 1): Maritime seized a 5-0 first-quarter lead and maintained that advantage throughout. Shannon McGowan scored three goals with two coming from Karlie Ferrucci and Delisianna Naccarato. Maine led in ground balls 19-12. The Mount had 20 turnovers. Liz Petrellese stopepd five of 13 shots in 21 minutes and Peyton Curley halted four of 13 over 39 minutes.
at Colorado 12, Army 6 (Feb. 28): Brigid Duffy scored twice, setting the all-time scoring mark of 133 goals, breaking a tie with Jackie Brattan (131). Lily Valentini also scored twice for Army (3-1). Lindsey Serafine stopped eight of 20 shots. Colorado dominated draws 15-6.
Monmouth 9, at Marist 5 (Feb. 26): Chloe Birckhead tallied twice for Marist (1-4). The Red Foxes were perfect on 22 clears and tied in draws 9-9. Megan Morris stopped 11 of 20 shots.
at Mount St. Mary 15, Bard 7 (Feb. 26): Delisianna Naccarato scored five goals, Shannon McGowan three and Karlie Ferrucci two for the Mount (2-0), which dominated ground balls 49-30 and draws 16-10. Bard had 30 turnovers. Peyton Curley stopped three of eight shots and Liz Petrellese one of three in split duty.
at Army 17, Siena 3 (Feb. 22): Army (3-0) got a career-high seven goals from Brigid Duffy, plus two from Chloe Garrett, Ryan Remaly, Allison Reilly and Geneva Milch Cesoni. Lindsey Serafine stopped eight of 11 shots. Army was successful on all but one of 17 clears and dominated draws 19-4.
at Marist 13, Vermont 7 (Feb. 22): Marist (1-3) won its first of the season, using a 4-0 third quarter to pull away. Alexa Borges scored five goals, Kate Gaven three and Chloe Birckhead and Anne Shine two apiece. Marist was good on all but one of 20 clears but lost draws 15-9. Megan Morris stopped 11 of 18 shots.
at Mount St. Mary 14, Wilkes 3 (Feb. 22): The Mount (1-0) shot out to a 7-0 lead through 16 minutes. Delisianna Naccarato scored six goals and Karlie Ferrucci five for the Knights, who dominated ground balls 40-26. Liz Petrellese stopped one of three shots and Peyton Curley halted two of three in split action. Wilkes had 35 turnovers.
Army 16, at Marist 6 (Feb. 19): Army sprinted to a 5-0 lead. Brigid Duffy scored four goals and Army (2-0) got two from Gabrielle Mirak, Allison Reilly and Geneva Milch Cesoni. Lindsey Serafine stopped seven of 13 shots. For Marist, Chloe Birckhead, Anne Shine and Kate Gaven each scored twice. Megan Morris stopped eight of 24 shots. Both clubs were 14-for-16 on clears. Army led in groundballs 24-16 and draws 14-10.
at Hofstra 18, Marist 5 (Feb. 16): Hofstra jumped to a 10-0 lead. Marist (0-2) got goals from Makenna Graham, Caitlin McNaboe, Juliana Palumbo, Anne Shine and Jesse Manger. Megan Morris stopped three of 21 shots. Hofstra won draws 15-9 and the teams tied with 15 groundballs.
at Army 10, Rutgers 9 (Feb. 8): Ryan Remaly snapped a tie with one second remaining. Chloe Garrett scored three goals and Allison Reilly and Brigid Duffy each had two for Army (1-0). Lindsey Serafine stopped six of 15 shots.
at New Hampshire 15, Marist 5 (Feb. 8): Marist did take a 3-2 first-quarter lead. Jesse Manger scored three times with Chloe Birckhead and Catherine Windsor adding one apiece. Marist led on groundballs 16-15 but trailed on draws 12-11. Megan Morris stopped eight of 23 shots.
