The UCLA men’s basketball team will try to get its second win against the Washington Huskies at the Pauley Pavilion on Saturday. UCLA beat UW earlier this season in Seattle.
The Bruins have an 8-4 record in the Big Ten compared to the Huskies’ 4-8 conference record, but the last time the two teams played, UCLA was only able to win by one basket. Now, the teams have changed with UCLA shifting to a much more defensive approach. The Bruins have seemed to adopt head coach Mick Cronin’s mindset. This will be UCLA’s last game before a three-game gauntlet against ranked opponents that start on Saturday, Feb. 14.
