Colin Cowherd makes case Super Bowl window closing for Bills' Josh Allen (video)

Most in western New York will not agree but FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd made the case that the Super Bowl “window” for the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen is closing.

Citing the salary cap and Allen recently being spotted with a foot injury, Cowherd rose those concerns for the Bills QB. He did the same for the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson.

“Both quarterbacks not only have massive cap hits, we saw Josh Allen in a boot,” Cowherd said. “If I had to bet, will Josh Allen get to a Super Bowl? It would be a yes but I think they would be an underdog and I don’t think they would win because of the cap hit.”

While not close to being a rookie, such a criticism is a bit much on Allen. His talent is not questioned by Cowherd, however, the salary cap question is questionable in itself.

Over the years, Allen has shown a knack for staying healthy and re-working his contract with Bills general manager Brandon Beane to benefit the team. That seems unlikely to stop.

Not to mention, Allen is only turning 30 in May as well.
